Mauritius’ exports have continued recovering from the shock caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The country’s total merchandise exports continued recovering to USD 2.0 billion in 2021. Mauritius has a diversified export profile and earnings from fish have continued decreasing to USD 225.2 million (approx. 11.5% of total exports) in 2021. Other top exports from Mauritius include sugar and clothing and textiles.
