PESA’s strategic approach in Angola encompasses research, advocacy, capacity building, consulting, and training services. By leveraging evidence-based research, engaging in targeted advocacy efforts, delivering customised capacity building programs, providing specialised consulting services, and building strategic partnerships, PESA Angola aims to contribute to positive change, good governance, and sustainable development in Angola.

PESA Angola conducts comprehensive assessment of Angola’s development needs and priorities to identify key research areas; and utilises both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to gather data and insights.

Geographic Location

Angola is located on the Atlantic Coast of Southern Africa between Namibia and the Republic of the Congo. It also is bordered by the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia to the east. The country consists of a sparsely watered and somewhat sterile coastal plain extending inland for a distance varying from 50 to 160 km. Slightly inland and parallel to the coast is a belt of hills and mountains and behind those a large plateau.
