Interview about the call to relax the national lockdown restrictions for the South Africa fast-food and alcohol retails following the extension until the end of April. The discussion evaluates whether fast-food and alcoholic products should be exempted from the national lockdown restrictions. The interview also discusses the right approach towards phased relaxation of the national lockdown restrictions to enable certain economic activities without compromising public health and jeopardising the government-led response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
