Nthangeni Usisipho Biniza

Nthangeni is the Media Liaison at PESA, an independent research think-tank advancing knowledge that enables regional integration in SADC and to developing policies for a secure, prosperous and unified Africa. She joined PESA in 2016 and helped the organisation become the premier resource for political economy analysis, regional integration and policy dialogues in SADC.

As Media Liaison, Nthangeni focuses on maintaining strategic relationships with media stakeholders and coordinating PESA’s involvement in media engagements. She coordinates media and communications for PESA and all our strategic projects. A patron of the PESA vision, Nthangeni has challenged the organisation to increase its global thought leadership eminence, brand awareness, and expand its impact. She has interests in political economy and public policy and her passion is focused on Manufacturing and Trade, and Governance and Civil Society.

Nthangeni is a Marketing professional with experience in sales and financial services. Nthangeni also brings experience from in administration, research and finance from working in the broadcasting, entertainment and market research industries. Nthangeni received her N.Dip. in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa and her H.Cert. in Marketing Management from Vhembe TVET College. She has also completed multiple certificates in Civic Leadership through the Young African Leaders Initiative.
